Bruno Roche joins Advisory Board of GIST Impact

2 min read

Bruno Roche joins GIST Impact’s Advisory Board with a distinguished career in the impact economy and management innovation. Renowned for founding the Economics of Mutuality, Bruno has transformed the way value is created and shared across stakeholders. As former Chief Economist at Mars Incorporated, he spearheaded the Economics of Mutuality for 15 years, collaborating with Oxford Saïd Business School.

Bruno co-founded academic centers globally, authored influential books such as “Putting Purpose into Practice: the Economics of Mutuality” and serves as a Senior Fellow at the Wharton School and Rotterdam School of Management. He also advises leading organisations, including the World Economic Forum, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) or China Impact Investment Network.

He co-founded ONE Society (Old NEw Society) to expand this new paradigm across the public and private sectors through education, real-economy implementation, and policy influence – partnering with top academic institutions, leading consulting firms, and policymakers to drive systemic change and
create a lasting, transformative impact.

In Bruno Roche’s own words:

Unlike traditional systems that create value first before sharing it, mutuality integrates the sharing of benefits directly into value creation. This approach enhances outcomes for all stakeholders, including the environment, while enabling a fairer distribution of wealth. I’m excited to join GIST Impact and contribute to shaping a future where impact is embedded in how value is created.

Welcome, Bruno! We’re excited to have your visionary leadership as part of the team shaping the future of impact.
