Cape Capital uses GIST Impact data for inagural report into nature positive investing

2 min read

GIST Impact is proud to have been featured in a report by Cape Capital, a Swiss wealth and investment management firm. Among Cape Capital’s offerings – across fixed-income, equity and private markets – is a multi-asset Nature Positive Economy (NPE) fund, designed to help protect, restore and reverse the degradation of natural ecosystems.

The report, titled “Pulse Check: Cape Nature Positive Economy Fund” highlights how Cape Capital is developing its transition strategy towards enabling a nature positive future through their investments, partnerships, and engagements.

Thanks to our award-winning data, Cape Capital was able to demonstrate the natural capital impact intensity (measured in monetary terms) and biodiversity pressures (measured as Potentially Disappeared Fraction of Species) of its NPE fund. Most importantly, our data produced a range of insights: from a high-level sector overview, to granular, company-specific perspectives, to benchmarking of the Nature Positive Economy against its Global Equities funds.

This report shows that our market-leading insights drive actions: besides asset allocation and product innovation, Cape Capital uses our market-leading data to monitor and engage with fund managers – keeping their clients’ investments on track towards a nature-positive future.

The report can be accessed via this link. For more information, please see Cape Capital’s website and LinkedIn post announcing this report.
