We’re thrilled to announce that Prem Kumar has joined GIST Impact as our Vice President of Research and Innovation, where he’ll be leading our Research and Innovation Lab.

Prem brings with him an impressive 18 years of experience spanning economic research, climate economics, and government advisory across India, Europe, and Central Asia. His professional background includes senior leadership roles at globally recognized organizations, including Dun & Bradstreet, OakNorth, EY, and Moody’s Analytics. Throughout his career, Prem has been instrumental in driving key initiatives in ESG, climate risk analysis, and economic advisory. His efforts in this area have shaped strategic decisions for institutions such as the World Bank, IMF, European Central Bank, and the Reserve Bank of India.

Beyond his strategic work with multilateral institutions, Prem has also demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing the field of climate economics and sustainable growth. His expertise in country risk and climate economics positions him perfectly to help further GIST Impact’s mission to measure overall business performance – not just returns to shareholders.
