London, 12 June 2024 – Leading impact data and analytics provider GIST Impact today announced the strengthening of its leadership team with the appointment of Vineet Gupta as Senior Vice President, Product. 

Vineet joins GIST Impact from Meta, where he spearheaded product and go-to-market strategy development across several AI and machine learning-led products. Before Meta, Vineet held senior product and engineering roles at Adidas and Adobe, as well as digital and technology advisory roles at management consulting firms Bain & Company and AT Kearney. 

A seasoned product leader and expert in machine learning and AI-based digital technologies, Vineet has invented 8 US Patents and authored 6 research publications at top-tier journals & conferences in this field. He also serves as a reviewer for AI and machine learning based research papers for top-tier journals. Vineet is a graduate in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur, and has management degrees from IIM Ahmedabad and HEC Paris.

In addition to his professional achievements, Vineet is a dedicated mentor for startups, particularly those incubated by University College London’s Hatchery. He is also the co-author of a book on AI and machine learning, which is used as part of the course curriculum at Indian public universities.
