Did you know we’ve been working with Microsoft to measure the social impact of some of their key programmes?

Since 2022, Microsoft and GIST Impact partnered to track and measure the social and economic outcomes of Microsoft programmes by building an impact platform that quantifies each programme’s effect on the economy, nature, and society in monetary terms.

So far, we’ve measured a total of 12 Microsoft programmes using our science-based impact valuation methodology. This article covers four programmes as case studies:
